Target beauty box April 2020 – This is a monthly subscription box that comes with sample size products and full-size products. This month was “spring into clean” theme.
Here is what was included this month:
Pacifica Glowing Makeup Removing Wipes RV $ 3
These wipes are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. They have glycolic acid and are scented orange and vanilla. These are some of the best scented wipes I’ve used. They smell so sweet and exactly like an orange creamsicle. I’ve used Pacifica brand wipes before and have always been satisfied with them. these also have coconut water, calendula, and aloe so they are gentle on your skin and work fine on sensitive skin like mine. I love using these to just freshen up too.
The Good Stuff Complete Repair Balm RV $3.99
A no-rinse conditioner that is vegan and has no dyes and parabens. Directions say to skip the rinse-off conditioner and use this instead with a quarter size amount after you towel dry your hair. I liked the smell which was a light floral smell that lingered after use. However, I did find that it didn’t do as good of a job at detangling hair as when I use rinse off conditioner. So I would use both in the future.
Acure resurfacing overnight glycolic treatment RV $6.66
Before you go to bed you can use this treatment cream and use it every other day to start. It may cause some tingling but I didn’t experience that the first time I used it. I did find it seemed to make my skin feel smoother in the morning. I feel like I had a texture problem with rough skin in certain areas of my face and that this helped to solve that problem.
SheaMoisture cannabis and witch hazel skin rescue cream cleanser RV $10.99
This is a cream cleanser that is relatively gentle on the skin. I think the witch hazel really helps with the oily parts of your skin while still being gentle to the dry parts of your face. This does not contain any CBD oil or THC and it is fragrance-free so it doesn’t have any scent. I think it’s nice it doesn’t have a scent because anyone can use it including men.
Spring and Vine shampoo bar RV $9.99
This was my favorite item in this box this month. The tea tree and mint smell is so refreshing. This was my first time using a shampoo bar but it’s very easy to use and I like the idea of it especially for traveling. It lathered up easily and spread over the hair without problems. It also rinses out without leaving residue. My hair definitely felt clean.
Overall verdict: This box approximately had a value of $34.63 which is a great value for $7. It’s always fun to try new products and new brands. It also comes with a coupon for $3 off $15 or more beauty purchase so you even gain that. Some of these products you can even share with your family and more than one person can use it. I would definitely recommend this as a regular purchase.
